Basic operating system
Operating system (OS) is system software which manage computer hardware. It manage software also. It provide resources and provides common services for computer programs. An operating system is most important to run computer. Operating system as a bridge computer hardware and user or people. It manages computer memory and processes data. Without any operating system computer is like useless. So it is main thing for computer.
Types of operating systems
Mainly there are 3 most common operating systems of personal computers.
Modern operating systems use graphical user interface (GUI) but old operating systems use Command Line Interface (CLI). We can use mouse to click buttons, icons and menu. Everything is clearly displayed on the computer screen.
