Creating new word document

In office xp

go to file menu 

Click on the New from the file menu or click on the new button from tool bar

or 

press the ctrl+N in same time

In office 2007

Click on office button

Click on New

Double Click on blank document

or

press the ctrl+N in same time

then it will be open
